About
Connect more people to public golf.
Our mission is to connect more people to public golf, help courses grow and make it easier for the next generation to experience its first round.
Our story
It starts with a simple belief.
Public golf becomes stronger when people can see the experience, understand how to begin and feel welcomed when they arrive.
Local Round Golf sits at the intersection of storytelling, community and operations. We produce the content that shows a course honestly, run the family programming that gives new golfers a way in, and handle the practical systems that make both repeatable for the people running public courses.
First Round Kids is a course-growth service, not youth instruction. It exists to onboard golf-curious families and hand them to the course's own lessons, junior programs and tee times — the work of teaching golf long-term stays with the local golf professionals who already do it well.
We work at the intersection of
- Public-course storytelling
- Community connection
- Course growth
- Family golf access
- Practical systems and operations
Four pillars
How the work fits together.
Discover
See the course the way it feels to play it.
Connect
Make it easier to find a round and a group.
Grow
Help public courses reach and retain more golfers.
Access
Create a welcoming path into golf.
Launch approach
Regional first. A playbook before expansion.
Local Round Golf is beginning in Rhode Island and Southern New England. We are developing a repeatable playbook with a small number of founding courses before expanding to other regions — not launching a national platform on day one.
Built one local golf community at a time.
